Rúben Rodriguez Discusses the Internals of the Internet Archive

In today's meeting, Rúben Rodriguez, who has a long history volunteering and working professionally with Free Software, came to talk about his current job as a sysadmin for the Internet Archive.

He talked about every aspect of the job, from what kind of hardware they use, to what the actual physical Archive building is like and its history, to how they deal with copyright trolls and lawsuits, and much more. And of course he talked about the recent breach.

Although she didn't have much of a chance to talk, his wife Mariah, who herself has an impressive FOSS history, joined us. She will most likely be a guest speaker in the future.
