For our second meeting, we had a guest speaker Adam Holt. He maintains the FOSS project called Internet in a Box, which is basically a way to cheaply and easily set up a server that allows students in areas with no/unreliable Internet access to access useful learning resources like Wikipedia, and for teachers to play videos or send out assignments digitally.

Adam also spoke about MANY other topics, for example Shawn Fanning, who is a Northeastern Alumn and the creator of Napster.

We were discussing philosophy as much as we were discussing technology, and we were all enthralled with his talk.
