For This Site

Let's say you want to edit something on this website. Either there is a typo, or you want to add a blogpost or whatever. The process is pretty straightforward.

  1. Click the "EDIT THIS PAGE" button on the bottom of the page. It will bring you to the corresponding file on Codeberg.

  2. Either edit the file on in the Codeberg webUI and commit, or clone the git repo to your machine and edit it there then commit and push

  3. Rebuild and deploy the site (see more info in the above alert).

For the Club as a whole

The #1 way to contribute is to invite your friends to join this group. But if you are looking for more ways than that, here are some options:

  1. Close an issue on the issue tracker. This tracker includes things about running the club, not just the website.

  2. Spearhead some sort of a campaign or event for this club, such as:

    • Organizing some people to contribute to a FOSS project
    • Hosting a guest speaker
    • Doing a workshop to install some software or teach some skill
  3. Make advertising materials for the club. Feel free to make your own art or use existing things

  4. Help other club members with their FOSS-related tech problems

  5. Keep the website up to date and write content for it
